The move by companies to launch their products and services in the NFT space is gaining momentum with each passing day, and there is a limit to what non-fungible tokens can offer businesses.

A new entrant into the NFT ecosystem is the Bulgari-Italian firm that produces high-quality and pricey luxury watches. As per the report released by Polygon Studios, the gaming unit of the Polygon blockchain network, the luxury brand has successfully listed its NFT collection in the network.

The new NFT collection is a replica of the famous Octo Finissimo watch, regarded as one of the best mechanical watches in the world. Also released by the luxury brand is the special BVLGARI Singularity NFT collection that is one of its kind.

Introducing The Octo Finissimo Ultra Watch

The special edition watch is released in time as the celebration for the 10th anniversary of the iconic Octo collection draws near. The new edition has eight patent apps and a QR code that can be connected to the Metaverse and is sold along with an exclusive NFT collectible.

NFT, A Haven for Luxury Brands

Over the past couple of months, several top luxury brands worldwide have been moving into the virtual space, and the NFT has emerged as the perfect space to showcase the financial muscle of luxury shoppers.

Unlike others, exclusivity is the preserve of fashion enthusiasts, and luxury brands know this, hence the move to the NFT, which provides just what fashion fans want, exclusivity.

U.Today has previously reported that another leading luxury fashion brand, Dolce & Gabbana, recently expanded its NFT space on the Polygon blockchain network after launching the fashion brand’s NFT project, the DGFamily community.

NFT collectors in the DFFamiliy are eligible to join the fashion brand on an adventure to explore fashion in the Metaverse. However, this initiative came at the back of the successful launch of the Collezione Genesi NFT project.

The Collezione Genesi is Dolce & Gabbana’s pioneer NFT collection, launched in September last year, making it a historical success in the NFT space.

The UNXD marketplace is the leading luxury marketplace and hosts the Collezione Genesi NFT debut; the Polygon network also hosts the UNXD marketplace.
